Enjoy being in the great outdoors
Individual adventures in the heart of Nature and made for families, too, can be enjoyed in Seekirchen am Wallersee - and there is no charge! On the nature trail between the lakeside beach and the flood dike there are numerous flora and fauna, animals and especially birds to see and study, at the same time one can enjoy a relaxing stroll.

Birds in Paradise
Many different types of birds nest along the shores of the Wallersee: coots, mallard ducks, great crested grebes, mute swans, grey geese, common teals and , since 1995, marsh harriers. Also larger birds such as curlews, lapwings, common snipes, and reed buntings feel at home here. Occasionally cormorans, turfted ducks, pochards, goldeneyes and , now and then, a bittern can be seen. In addition on the marshes one can observe grey herons and egrets, hobbies, reed and marsh warblers, grasshopper warblers and meadow pipits, amongst a multitude of others. An practical look-out hut has been constructed for observation. Please note that dogs must be on a lead. – Thank you.
