This cooperation of the association „Teufelsgrabenbach“ and its special project, with the various municipal departments of the province of Salzburg, have considerably improved the infrastructure of both the farming community and local tourism.

The focus here is on a harmonious interaction of nature, culture and economy. The main objects are gentle tourism, a sound farming fraternity producing mainly organic goods and a varied cultural programme of the region. The Teufelsgraben provides visitors with a mystical, mythological world, where they can enjoy adventure, nature and are also able to relax.

The core of the many measures made in the Teufelsgraben gorge, was the revitalisation of the old flourmill, „Röhrmoos-Mühle“. It was built in 1835 but was closed down in 1953. Since the complete revitalisation of the mill the local organic farmers have started to bring their grains to be ground. The mill is open to the public and the miller himself gives tours, under the title of „From Corn to Bread“ .
