Guide lines for the 21st century
It’s never too late to make the first move, sense what is important, listen to your inner self, observe how Nature broadens our horizons. Go part of the way, - alone or together on a guided pilgrimage to some of the most beautiful places between Metten (Bavaria) and St. Wolfgang (Upper Austria), maybe for only two days, but possibly for several weeks.

Catering partners on the way
Several restaurants, hotels and inns of various types and categories, have declared themselves as partners en route, willing to take in and cater for pilgrims. They can be recognised by a sign outside their premises, which shows their affiliation to the Via Nova. Furthermore, on arrival pilgrims are given a piece of bread, a glass of water and some salt as a symbolic gesture and acknowledgement that they are pilgrims.
In the certified hostelries a simple pilgrims meal can be bought at a resonable price.
Accommodation, where further assistance is available, should be booked in advance.
