Aiderbichl has been helping animals for 25 years.
„As long as we have to protect the animals from us humans, we have achieved nothing. Only when we no longer have to protect the animals will we have reached our goal. Then we will have changed something: US!“ says Michael Aufhauser, founder of Gut Aiderbichl.
Even before Gut Aiderbichl was founded in 2001, Michael Aufhauser had already campaigned for animal rights.
Together with Managing Director Dieter Ehrengruber, Gut Aiderbichl became a driving force for animal welfare.
The organisation now operates in six European countries. As an animal welfare organisation, Gut Aiderbichl rescues animals from the most diverse living situations and guarantees them a species-appropriate and loving „forever home“. Gut Aiderbichl, based in Henndorf, has a big heart for animals. Over 9,000 rescued animals now live on the animal welfare organisation's more than 30 farms throughout Europe.
Gut Aiderbichl wants to make animal welfare a tangible experience. That is why you can also visit the rescued animals on our three encounter farms.
One of these farms is in Henndorf on Wallersee, in the middle of Salzburg's Seenland. Walk with the pigs around the farm or cuddle with free-roaming donkeys and ponies.
Our animals are happy about your visit! And don't worry about your own four-legged friend - visitors with dogs are just as welcome.
