Trumer Seen Round Route

This perfect route leads around the three lakes, the Mattsee, the Obertrumersee and the Grabensee, along some of the most beautiful and impressive countryside in the Salzburg Lake District.

Length of tour:   28 km

The start of the tour is from the Parkplatz Nord, a parking area on the Mattsee bypass road, where there is free parking.

It continues south via Mitterhof alongside the lake and past fields and meadows on the bicycle path to Obertrum. There you can find the first of the five wooden sunbeds en route to take a break.

There are gardens and restaurants along the way in Obertrum and Seeham. After Seeham the route runs through shady woods in the direction of Perwang and the unspoilt Grabensee lake.

The idyllic bicycle trail continues through Gransdorf via the camping site on to Rödhausen and Singham and to Stein. After a short uphill stretch you reach Gebertsham with its tiny, ancient chapel and famous winged altar and also a magnificent view across lake Mattsee to the Alps.
