Silent Night Peace Walk
Oberndorf near Salzburg

On the well 12 km long circular trail have been an twelve stations wooden steles with sayings and quotations are erected, where different areas of the peace theme are explored in depth.
Various people and groups from the participating communities give the walkers thoughts and impulses along the way and ask questions.

The trail leads through a gently rolling landscape of the Alpine foothills and can be used both as a Pilgrimage route, as well as (Family) Hiking Trail to be "walked". Parallel to the above-mentioned impulses, there are for Children also has its own Accompanying booklet with thoughts, games, riddles and tasks that make the walk more interesting and "a little shorter". For Young people and mobile-savvy hikers there is also the Actionbound" interactive mobile phone appwhich makes the trail a different experience with a multimedia puzzle rally.

The Silent Night Peace Trail can be followed from the pilgrimage church of Maria Bühel with the Seenland Pilgrimage Route connect. 

INFORMATION:
Parking space: for individual visitors at the car park in Schöffleutengasse next to the Silent Night Museum (free of charge), coach parking opposite Lokal Mairoll (chargeable)
Directions: 12 km, walking time approx. 4 - 5 hours, starting point at the Stille-Nacht-Platz (Silent Night Square), the path is easy to follow (only 140 steps up to Calvary).
Sightseeing: Twelve stations with sayings and quotations where different areas of the peace theme are explored in depth.
