Cosy circular trail with great views of the mountains of the Salzkammergut, Salzburg and Bavaria.

The starting point is the Sommerholz church. 

Small round: From the church, the path leads towards Wallester. At the fork in the road on the right, past the Brandstattgut, go over Hinterroid and turn right again to get back to Sommerholz.

Big round: From the church, the trail leads to the left through the forest at the hamlet of Baumgarten. Walk in the direction of Kollomannsroid until you reach the fork in the road near Sighartstein. At the next fork, turn right uphill to Wallester and then to the church in Sommerholz.

If you would like to go further, take the small summer wood circuit.
