From Silent Night Square along the Salzach downstream to the newly renovated statue of the bridge saint John Nepomuk. From there, an initially two-armed staircase, which leads to a total of 139 steps, leads to a crucifixion group.

The path now continues a few hundred metres inland to the baroque pilgrimage church of Maria B\u00fchel. The two-towered pilgrimage church Maria B\u00fchel stands high above the Salzach near Oberndorf.
