Seminar farmer and passionate cook<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Today, with our four children - Elena, Sofia, Emma and Johann - we live and work here, nestled in the gentle landscape of Lochen am See. It's a place where time seems to have stood still in the best sense of the word and where I'm lucky enough to be able to fulfil my second passion: cooking. I became a seminar farmer in 2017, and since then I have been able to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm for good food. I invite people to discover the joy of cooking for themselves and the value of regional and seasonal ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of my recipes are the products that the seasons give us. My garden, which accompanies us throughout the year, is my greatest source of inspiration: in spring the first delicate leaves, in summer the abundance of fruit and herbs, and in autumn the strong, earthy flavours of root vegetables. And then, of course, there's the fridge, my everyday inspiration for creative leftover utilisation. I think it's wonderful to create magic from what's available - in my books and courses, I pass on this joy in the mindful use of food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My work has led me down a path that I would never have thought possible as a young person. Through my blog \"Hofk\u00fcche\" and my social media presence, more and more people have gained an insight into our lives and our cooking. Then, when the Salzburg publishing house Anton Pustet became aware of me, a dream came true: I was able to realise my first cookbook, followed a year later by the baking book. It is a great pleasure to be able to pass on my values and recipes and inspire people to get creative in the kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our world has become fast-paced and cooking is no longer a matter of course. But I firmly believe that sitting around a table together and enjoying home-cooked food has a special meaning. This is the heart that connects us, a piece of home that I want to preserve for my children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
