The picturesque setting at the Round Car Park and Trumerplatz will once again be a meeting point for visitors looking for unique Christmas gifts and a festive atmosphere.
The Arts and crafts market in the middle school attracts visitors with a diverse selection of handmade treasures, including candles, wooden decorations, unique knitted items, artistic jewellery and impressive paintings. The various stalls offer the ideal opportunity to discover special gifts and increase the anticipation of the festive season.
The Gastronomic variety is another highlight of the Barbaramarkt. From traditional delicacies such as apple wheels and spicy elderberry punch to savoury jacket potatoes and bosna, there is something for every taste. The culinary delights create a festive atmosphere and invite visitors to enjoy the market to the full.
Especially for the little guests in Obertrum am See there is a varied programme: From making angels and baking Christmas biscuits to the adventures of Punch and Judy - the Barbaramarkt also offers the youngest visitors a magical way to get in the mood for the festive season.
The St Nicholas will be making a personal appearance on both days of the market, on foot on Saturday and in a fairytale horse-drawn carriage on Sunday. In front of the impressive Krampus run of the regional Perchten clubs, including the "Wallersee Perchten", the "Hexenkessel Deifen" and the "Salzburger Umland-Pass", the Children's Krampus run for enthusiasm and entertainment.
