Dichtlalm
New market on Wallersee

Short version: Small hut with wonderful view 

A particularly cosy stop in the small hut during or after a hike or bike tour with a magnificent view over the northern Flachgau and the Salzburg and Bavarian mountains. The cradle lounger offers a special box seat. Children will find many opportunities to play and discover nature here. Not far from the Dichtlalm, the "Wunderfichte", a huge candelabra spruce, awaits a visit.

At Gasthaus Kienberg in Neufahrn, follow the road for approx. 400m. (Access by car to the Dichtlalm car park is possible without any problems).

Directions: After the Dichtlalm car park, a short walk of approx. 15 min.

 

Longer route: Au circular route with Dichtlalm

From the Kulturhaus Sighartstein, the trail leads past Sighartstein Castle (private property) to the villages of Wertheim and Haslach. At the fork in the path in Haslach, walk along the Steinbach stream to the Jägerwiese meadow (fountain!), then along the Aubach stream to the Kienberg inn and on to the Dichtlalm pasture. Trail N8 leads the hiker via the hamlet of Jagahäusl, the villages of Aring and Neufahrn and past the hamlet of Ulbering back to the starting point.
