UPDATE weather situation on 02.12. - ATTENTION - IMPORTANT NOTE!
Dear visitors to the Seekirchen lido!
Due to the current weather conditions, the Seekirchen lido has been cordoned off for the time being and is therefore NOT accessible! The large amount of snow - on the trees, on the path, etc. - is currently causing Danger to life, because every few minutes a branch breaks off or a snow avalanche comes down from the trees. Please take care!
After all the effort, time and hard work we have put into the preparations for the Advent market, our hearts are bleeding that we have to cancel the "LichterLeuchten am Wallersee" for this weekend at least. The catering stands at the entrance are still open.
Unfortunately, we can't say anything more precise for the coming weekends, as many Christmas decorations have to suffer under the huge amount of snow.
If the situation improves, we will see how the Advent market and the Christmas tree campaign can be continued and will keep you up to date here!
We are incredibly sad, frustrated and simply at a loss for words at the moment! We ask for your understanding.

Welcome to the LightsLights on Wallerseewhere thousands of lights illuminate the Seekirchen lido and are reflected alongside the stars in the gentle waves of the Wallersee.
This magical place fills us with Christmas anticipation, accompanied by contemplative Christmas sounds, traditional arts and crafts, fragrant Advent delicacies, winter cutter trips and a varied programme for young and old!
This year, the little (b)angel takes us on a journey through the heavenly workshop, where there is once again plenty to discover. Here, ideas are transformed into sparkling Christmas dreams, be it in the bakery, making music or crafting. Come along and be enchanted by the magic of Christmas.

On Saturday, 2 December, joint campaign with Lebenshilfe "Your energy against barriers".
2nd Advent weekend "Magic.children.laughter"

3rd Advent weekend "Baking.handicrafts.beer enjoyment"
Saturday & Sunday (16 & 17 December)
Christmas tree campaign:
The motto of this year's Christmas tree campaign is "Giving time". If you choose a Christmas tree from the Tannenwald, you are not only taking a piece of LichterLeuchten with you to your Christmas party, but also making a needy family or animal from Seekirchen happy with a donation in kind.
(B)Angel Pass:
With the (B)Angel Pass, this year you can go on a puzzle hunt through the Heavenly Workshop. You will find the necessary clues on site at LichterLeuchten. No matter when you solve the questions, once you have completed everything, you can hand in your finished passport and we will draw 24 winners on 22 December at the winter solstice!
Winter solstice celebration and a mystical fire show:
On 22 December, traditions and customs enliven the longest night of the year: various Perchten and legendary figures from the "Wallersee-Perchten" will once again float around the warming winter solstice fire at the lido this year. The celebration is accompanied by a mystical fire show by Drumsonfire.
Carriage rides
The horse-drawn carriage also makes its rounds by the lake every Saturday and Sunday (and on 8 December) from 3 to 5 pm, weather permitting.
Winter naval cutter trips "Staad over the lake"
On Saturdays and Sundays during Advent and on 8 December, the cutter with blankets on board departs from the lido every half hour (2.00 pm, 2.30 pm, 3.00 pm, 3.30 pm, 4.00 pm & 4.30 pm).
Advent shuttle
The free slow train takes you on the first three Advent weekends from the LichterLeuchten at the lido to the Family Advent in the centre and back again. First departure at 1 pm from the Faberhaus car park.
