Bee Experience Trail

Besides bees, there are countless other insect species that achieve incredible things year after year ...

Many species of insects, but especially honey bees and wild bees, work a miracle in nature every year. They pollinate a large part of wild and cultivated plants, helping them to blossom and bear fruit. In this way, they ensure biodiversity and are indispensable for the human food chain and the ecosystem.

With scientific support and the involvement of beekeepers, an eventful and informative bee experience trail was designed in the Seeham bio-village, which presents the performance of wild and honey bees and the unique symbiosis between the plant and animal world. Important enough to protect and preserve all this.

Impressive stations await you:

  • Biodiversity - bee-friendly flowers and shrubs
  • Nesting aids for wild bees - exhibition in the pavilion
  • Forest habitat - path leads to the Pfarrgrabenbach with information boards
  • Honey bee live - At the apiary there is an eventful live show
  • Apitherapy - is a very effective form of therapy with products from honey bees.
