Castle
Seeburg

Seeburg Castle consists of a four-storey main building, a castle chapel and a defensive wall with four round corner towers. Seeburg Castle was extensively renovated in 1999. In the course of the renovation, historical wall features of the medieval complex were uncovered in the castle courtyard. A Baroque painting was discovered in the plinth area of the wedding room. A bust of a ruler painted in 1755 with fruit hangings on both sides was restored, thus documenting the surrounding plinth design.
